Uwe Jarling is an artist who tries to follow the concept of not having any concepts. During his ten years of freelance illustration, he worked on hundreds of coverillustrations for books and videos, did technical and architectural illustrations and many free art pieces in all known techniques. His preferred technique today is a “mixing - all – techniques” – one with sketching on the computer, wetmounting the printed sketches on masonite, gessoing and finishing with acrylics and oils… but this preference may change as life is a random walk…
