Veronica is a freelance illustrator working in the Northern Virginia area -- just down the road from Washington DC. Confused in her youth, she didn't pursue "art as a living" until she had already graduated from college and was working in the "real world" as a research assistant. It wasn't until she had a chance encounter with a medical illustrator that she decided that art could be a viable career choice.
She then went on to dupe people into hiring her into different graphic designer positions, before she decided to get REALLY risky and become a freelance illustrator. Of course, it helped that she was planning to stay home with a little one at the time too. Through a combination of hard work and trickery, she has been making her mark as a freelance illustrator for over 3 years now.
Her work appears in AEG's collectible card games Warlord and Legend of the Five Rings, interior illustrations for Paradigm Concepts and Sword and Sorcery Studios, and on the covers of Spycraft and Shadowforce Archer D20 books.
