Please allow me to introduce myself. I am an science fiction, fantasy illustrator who has over thirteen years illustration experience, which includes artwork created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop programs on the Macintosh.
First, I attended the Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio in the early eighties and finally graduated in 1984. I worked at various local publishing companies, including Learning Design Associates and Diocesan Publications. Then, I had the opportunity to function as a fulltime computer illustrator using the programs previously mentioned for several textbook publishers, one of which was Glencoe McGraw-Hill, a nationally recognized publishing company.
Next, let me add that at all during this time as a regular employee at textbook publishers, I was constantly, creatively sketching and penciling fantasy, sci-fi artwork such as robots, spaceships, monsters, warriors, fairies, elves and other related subject matter through traditional methods.I finally discovered my greatest strength was to adapt a certain clean, slick, illustrative technique to create and render high tech hardware digitally using the Macintosh. Thus, the computer became the main creative tool that helped open many freelance doors for me.
Finally, as a freelancer, I have been published in game companies such as ICE, Alderac Entertainment Group and West End Games. I also immensely enjoyed being given the opportunity to illustrate detailed hardware for some of the spaceships, landcraft and robots for Holonet.news at TheForce.Net, a Star Wars site.
