Since a child, I have always had the joy of being able to create something recognizable on a piece of paper. My education has been a smattering of this and that, including everything from numerous college courses to my own test and trial. My driving force now is always to do something greater than the one I did last. Recently I have returned to painting after a number of year with a new outlook on the themes I want to paint. I haven't figured out exactly what I want to do yet and am searching for my "own kind." Previously I was known as a landscape painter and now I am fascinated with fairies, fantasy and forest themes. I am experimenting with different media and also using mixed media. I am interested in learning more about illustration, licensing and children's books and very eager to learn more. Pixels and websites and URLs all make my head swim trying to figure them out. I need to figure out how to get my stuff reproduced, get my work shown and get some feedback. It is like starting all over again.
