Born in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada in 1976, Sybiline studies visual arts at Laval University in Quebec. Particularly fascinated by the work of great masters and museology, she undertook the study of ancient techniques. She specializes in the art of portraits, and is very much inspired by certain literary, imaginary and symbolic worlds. Member of the Portrait Society of Canada and the AIIQ, she works as a portrait painter and illustrates historical, children and fantastic novels for several publishing houses.
